Think about it. Know more about it.

Coming to you this Friday would be Project Zero to Hero’s second mission!

For our second mission, it is on a topic that is not often talked about among us teenagers.
HIV/AIDS, we have all heard of the name before but do you really understand what it is and why you should be more aware of it?

As much as we love to put a smile on your face, we also want you to be aware of the happenings around you. They say ignorance is bliss but not in this case.

1st December 2013 will be the World Aids Day.
So look out for us on the 29th of November as we will be going around RP to bring more awareness on this topic.

Also, follow our Twitter (@prjctzerotohero
and like our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/prjctzerotohero) as we will be putting up videos and articles relating to HIV/AIDS.

Let us all be aware and treat other with care.

Reflection Post on Mission #1 Good Morning RP

Hello fellow RPians!!

As some of you have known, we carried out our first mission last Friday, with a theme “Good Morning RP!”

We went to greet fellow RP-ians good morning with a smile and wrote short quotes to brighten up their day.

The objectivity of this event was to get rid of their mundane mornings and replace it with a smile on their faces

Our first mission took two days of careful planning before we executed it. Our challenge was, where to position ourselves. We eventually decided to position ourselves right outside RP’s main entrance and give post it notes to the students to wish them a good day ahead.

We successfully gave out post-it notes in a short time yet most of the students we gave the notes to, were not responsive to our mission. Many were too absorbed with their smartphones or were too shy when we approach them with the little notes. We also noticed that there was little interaction among students when they arrived in school together.

Although the outcome was not as responsive as we thought it would be, we hope to spread more word about our blog in our next mission! So keep smiling and look out for us this Friday!

MISSION #1: Get people to say "Good Morning" to start the day

Here at Project Zero to Hero,
We are proud to have officially launched our first event today!!

“Good Morning RP”

How did it feel to have someone greet you and give you a little push to start the day?
Due to our busy lives, we have all tend to become living zombies in the morning.
Groaning and brushing past others just to get to your destination, praying no one would say ‘hi’ to you. This has all become a habit that we forgot this one little greeting that may just boost someone’s day!

So even if it’s just for today, why not greet someone with a smile or crack a joke to start the day.
One greet a day, brings the morning blues away

Fun Fact about the word "Morning"
The name (which comes from the Middle English word morwening) was formed from the analogy of evening using the word "morn" (in Middle English morwen), and originally meant the coming of the sunrise as evening meant the beginning of the close of the day (Source: Wikipedia)

Cheers to all and Have an awesome Friday!!

Something's Brewing...

Did you wake up this morning feeling tired and moody, reluctant to go to school?
That cleaner aunty gave you the stink eye for not clearing up food which is not yours?
Wish that someone cared a little for events like Christmas and Valentine’s?
Watch this space as we do little things that will make an impact on your everyday routine.
A little hint for you:
Keep smiling. You will never know when we will see you.
